EMPORIA, Kan. - The Kansas Highway Patrol reports two young women from Andover were killed when their car hit a semi truck on I-35 in Emporia Tuesday. The dead are identified as 18-year-old Kyle Rene Moody and 19-year-old Holland Kay Moody. They were passengers in a Kia Rio. The driver of the car, 18-year-old Jessica Lotz of Andover, was hospitalized at the Newman Medical Center. A passenger in the truck was injured. Her condition is not known.
