WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita police say someone broke into a building at Clapp Golf Course over the weekend, but left empty-handed.
It happened sometime between Friday night and Monday morning. Police say employees of the golf course found the metal peeled away from a maintenance building at Clapp, which is near Harry and Oliver.
The suspects took two spools of copper wiring out of the building, but left without taking it or anything else. Damage to the building is estimated at about $200.
