The bashing these days of teacher unions are the fault of … the teacher unions. They have stood by for years siding with bad, sometimes very bad, teachers without the children’s concern. That is just wrong. Everyone needs to work together to make sure we all have good teachers, and only good teachers, in our schools. Maybe then we all can see the great work they are doing and pay them what they are worth.
