One of two men who escaped on June 23rd from the Kay County jail in Newkirk, Oklahoma, remains at large; 40-year-old Darrin Muegge may be in Wichita. The other escapee was turned in by relatives.

Muegge escaped twice last month; the first time, he was found in a Ponca City motel with the other two men after a June 5th escape.

Both times, Muegge was able to get out of prison through faulty auxiliary doors, which are now welded shut.

Muegge is from Blackwell, Oklahoma, and was in jail on drug charges.
