Five families from the Lamplighter Mobile Home Park in south Wichita were evacuated last weekend; one of the families went back home on Tuesday, and now all the families have returned. The mobile home park is located on E. MacArthur near the Kansas Turnpike.
The city provided temporary housing for the families after methane gas from the closed Chapin landfill was detected at their properties.
