Gunfire in South-Central Wichita
|
Wichita police tried to stop a car at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, and a chase ensued. Shots were fired in the area of Walker & Martinson.
The female driver ran the vehicle ran over a stop sign, and also tried to run a police officer off the road. After about a 10-minute chase, the vehicle was stopped near McCormick & Vine.
The driver and her male passenger were taken into custody; the male was tasered by police. |
