On Monday, the Wichita Police Department Patrol South Bureau conducted an escort/prostitution and prostitution sting, resulting in eight arrests on 13 separate charges. 

Those charges include prostitution, loitering for  the purpose of soliciting anti-prostitution emphasis area, possession of drug paraphernalia, sodomy for hire, escort license required, advertise without an escort license, failure to provide contract/receipt, escort runner license required, and loitering for  the purpose of soliciting.

Those arrested for the escort/prostitution violations had been advertising their services on www.craigslist.org.
