Crime Victims' Rights Conference

On Wednesday and Thursday, Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius and Attorney General Stephen Six are hosting the 11th annual Crime Victims' Rights Conference.

The conference offers training and networking for crime victims, survivors, and those who serve them; the goal is to ensure that every crime victim is provided quality services. The conference will feature a panel of survivors, 31 workshops, and a half-dozen keynote presentations. 

Among the guest speakers are Dr. Todd Negola, who is the chief psychologist at at Federal Correctional Institution, and Jeffery Dion, Director of the National Crime Victim Bar Association in Washington, D.C.
