A letter containing threats to police officers was found last week in the commons area of an apartment complex east of Harry & Rock Road.

The author of the letter claims to be the person who fired a bullet at an off-duty police officer on March 25th in downtown Wichita.

The police officer who was fired at in March was not injured, when the bullet was deflected by the officer's lapel microphone.

Forensic tests are being performed on the threatening letter.
