PLAINVILLE, Kan. - A Kansas man has died following a one-vehicle accident in Rooks County. It happened at approximately 3 a.m. Sunday morning on a country road two miles south of Plainville.
     Kansas Highway Patrol officials say Colburn Ray Patterson, 21, lost control of his pickup truck and went off the road into a ditch. The truck struck an embankment and tipped onto its side.
     Patterson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was critically hurt in the accident. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.
