WICHITA, Kan. - The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft of firearms from P-4 Firearms, a federal firearms licensee, located in Wichita.
ATF is offering a reward of up to $5,000, which NSSF will match for a total possible reward of $10,000.
After 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, a person or persons burglarized the business located at 1556 N. Broadway, stealing several firearms. ATF, working with the Wichita Police Department is investigating the incident.
All tips and calls are confidential. The stolen guns were valued in excess of $18,000, including an AK-47, a pair of AR-15s, a 12-gauge shotgun, and 33 handguns.

This reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between the NSSF and ATF in which the NSSF matches ATF rewards in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed retailers. ATF works closely with the members of the firearms industry to curb the criminal acquisition and misuse of firearms.
ATF is the federal agency with jurisdiction over violations of federal firearms laws.
