Robbery Suspect Arrested in SW Wichita
WICHITA - Police have arrested a 25-year-old male suspect who may be involved with at least four armed robberies during a two-day period earlier this week. The robberies occurred near Pawnee & Seneca, Lincoln & Grove, the 3400 block of S. Leonine, and the 1900 block of W. May.
The suspect was found to have a gun, and he's a felon; a charge of felony possession of a firearm was added to the arrest charges against the suspect.
One of the robbery victims was a 73-year-old man, who died of a medical condition hours after he was robbed at gun-point.
The suspect was arrested near Harry & Southwest Boulevard, in the 3000 block of W. Kay. Police are still looking for other suspects who may have been involved with these aggravated robberies.
