The robbery happened around 11 a.m. at Corner Bank in the 1900 block of East 9th Avenue. Winfield police say a man in his mid 50s entered the bank and gave a teller a note demanding money. He made off with an unknown amount of cash. No weapon was seen.
The suspect is described as a white male, around 5-foot-8, 150 pounds and was wearing a gray stocking cap with a Batman logo, dark sunglasses, a jacket with yellow accents, blue jeans and black shoes. Police believe he is driving an older-model gray passenger car.
No other information has been released.
