ELLSWORTH, Kan. - An Idaho man was killed in a tractor-trailer crash Thursday afternoon in central Kansas. It happened just before 4:00 p.m. on Interstate 70 about 8 miles north of Ellsworth.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the semi was heading eastbound on I-70 when it left the roadway, went into a ditch and came back onto the road before flipping onto its side. Both eastbound lanes of the interstate were blocked.
The driver, Ronald Kehoe, 64, of Jerome, Idaho, was taken to a local hospital where he later died. No other vehicles were involved. The accident is under investigation.
