Woman in Custody Following Shooting of Ex-Boyfriend



     UPDATE:  HUTCHINSON, Kan.  A woman was taken into custody late Wednesday night in connection with the shooting of her ex-boyfriend.  According to Sheriff Randy Henderson, Barbara Youngblood, 47 was taken into custody without incident on the east edge of Hutchinson shortly after 10:30 p.m.
     Earlier Wednesday evening, investigators said that a man was shot in the 300 block of N. Kent Rd.  That happened at around 7:30 p.m.  In a news release, Sheriff Randy Henderson says the unidentified victim was taken by Lifeteam helicopter to a Wichita hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

     HUTCHINSON, Kan.  -  The Reno County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that took place east of Hutchinson Wednesday night.  Investigators said that a man was shot in the 300 block of N. Kent Rd. at around 7:30 p.m.
     In a news release, Sheriff Randy Henderson says the unidentified victim was taken by Lifeteam helicopter to a Wichita hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
     Deputies are searching for a woman who may be connected to the shooting.  She was identified as Barbara Youngblood, 47, the victims ex-girlfriend.  Investigators described her as 5' 9", 200 lbs.  She may be armed with a 9 mm pistol.  If seen, you're advised to call 911 immediately.  
     Hutchinson Police are assisting in the investigation.
