Teen Killed, Three Hurt In Crash Near Derby

     DERBY, Kan. - A Derby area teenager is dead and three others hurt after a one-vehicle rollover crash just southeast of that city early Saturday morning.
     Sedgwick County Sheriff's Lt. Jason Gill said deputies were called to the crash just west of Webb Road on 87th Street South a little after midnight.
     He said when deputies arrived, they found three teens outside of the car who were looking for a fourth teen who was with
them. Deputies found the teen who had been ejected from the car, Gill said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other three teenagers were taken to a Wichita hospital for treatment of potentially serious injuries. Gill did not specify

their genders.
Investigators believe speed may have been a factor in the crash. They do not believe any alcohol was involved.
