WICHITA - The men's basketball teams at Kansas, Kansas State, and Wichita State are all ranked in the Top 20 in this week's Associated Press poll.
Wichita State (17-2) is ranked #20 in the nation this week in the A.P. poll, re-entering the rankings by jumping over Missouri, Notre Dame, San Diego State, Illinois, UCLA, and Marquette. WSU has won 18 straight home games.
Kansas (16-1) moves up one spot to #3 in the A.P., poll, skipping ahead of Louisville; Kansas has a 15-game winning streak. Four teams are splitting first-place votes: #1 Duke (62%), #2 Michigan (17%), #3 Kansas (11%), and #4 Syracuse (10%).
Kansas State (15-2) is ranked #11 in this week's A.P. poll, moving up five spots; KSU jumped over Minnesota, Ohio State, Creighton, North Carolina State, and San Diego State. KSU has an eight-game winning streak.
For the first time this season, Wichita State is ranked in the weekly coach's poll, checking in at #21 this week. WSU got into the coach's poll by jumping over Missouri, Notre Dame, San Diego State, Illinois, UNLV, and UCLA.
