The Kansas fire marshal's office has identified the man who died after being injured in a flash fire in Junction City. Chief investigator Rose Rozmiarek says 56-year-old Dale Bishop of Wakefield and another man were working on a furnace at a public housing apartment complex Wednesday afternoon. Vapors from a flammable liquid ignited, causing an explosion. Bishop was taken to Geary Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.
