Lawmakers from south-central Kansas are holding a public forum this weekend to talk about the legislative session and answer questions. The two-hour event is set for 9 a.m. Saturday in the Suderman Room of the Wichita State University Metroplex. Several lawmakers plan to give brief presentations about the work of various legislative committees. They will also talk about the state budget and last month's unexpected $71 million shortfall in tax collections. Audience members will have an opportunity to submit written questions for the legislative panel.
