Wichita police say a 25-year-old man was arrested on child endangerment and drug related charges after his 2-year-old daughter showed up on the front porch of a neighbor's home early Tuesday. Police spokesperson Gordon Bassham said the child was not wearing any clothes when the neighbor found her on the front porch about 6:40 Tuesday morning in the 1300 block of S. Pattie. According to police records, temperatures were hovering at the freezing mark. Police recorded a similar incident involving the same family in mid-February. Bassham says the girl's father was arrested a short time later. Police reports say the home was "dirty, cluttered, and not a good environment for children." The man said he didn't know how the girl made it out of the house. The 2-year-old girl, a 6-year-old girl, and a 9-month-old girl were taken into protective custody. Police say the children's mother was at work at the time of the incident.
