Second, third, and fourth watch and community police officers from the Wichita Police Department's Patrol North bureau teamed up to execute a Prostitution Sting. The operation, which began at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th and ended and 4:00 a.m. on February 6th, took place in the 900 N. Broadway.
During the operation, undercover female officers were utilized to make prostitution-related cases on suspects attempting to solicit prostitutes along N. Broadway. Officers working in below-freezing conditions arrested 11 male suspects, ranging in age from 20 to 69.
