A mysterious man disturbed a late-night card game in west Wichita. Police spokesman Gordon Bassham says it happened at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, when four people were playing cards inside a garage near McCormick & Meridian. That's when a middle-aged man wearing military-style clothing showed up.
The suspect asked a man in the garage if he knew a woman by the name of Cindy, and the man replied that he did not. The suspect got upset, storming off; he later returned in a car, driving through the garage with the people inside.
A 17-year-old girl was hospitalized with head and abdominal pain. The suspect was driving a '90s silver Chevy Suburban with a blue stripe on the side.
