WICHITA, Kan. - (UPDATE) Two children under the age of six were injured when a car collided with a parked vehicle in south Wichita Sunday.
Shortly after midnight, police say a vehicle traveling northbound on Gold Street at a high rate of speed hit a parked car near the intersection of Gold and 32nd Street South. Two children were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, Sgt. Clay Germany said.
The 26-year-old male driver was taken in for questioning.
(update) The driver was booked on charges of child endangerment, aggravated battery and DUI.
